Latest Update: Harley Davison, known for its cruiser bikes, is reportedly preparing to launch its all new Harley Davison 350 motorcycle in India. There is limited information available about the key specifications of this upcoming Harley Davidson bike. However, an update around the type approval document came out that provided some information about this motorcycle.
The filed documents by NHTSA and CARB highlighted the plan of the American brand’s launch of the three variants of the Harley-Davidson 350, naming them X350, X350RA, and X350RA Derating Removed. While all these variants are expected to be powered by the same engine and curb weight, the X350RA DR would be detuned and capable of producing 23 bhp. The other two variants will have a power delivery of 36 bhp.
The motorcycle is said to feature the same 353cc parallel twin engine seen in many models from Benelli and QJMotor. The Harley-Davidson 350 will also be manufactured in China as part of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Qianjiang JV.
If Harley plans to launch this model in India, it's likely to be sold by the dealership network of Hero MotoCorp. After halting manufacturing operations in India, Harley Davidson’s business operations are handled by Hero MotoCorp and these brands have already launched an entry level cruiser bike named Harley Davidson X440.
Expected Price & Rivals
Harley-Davidson 350 is expected to be priced at Rs 2.5 lakh in India. The model will compete with Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Triumph Speed 400, and Honda Hness CB350in this budget.
