Latest Update: With the expected launch in December 2025, the Honda CBR500R is going to be a fully faired 500cc supersports bike in India. Honda CBR500R will get power from a 500cc BS6 single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, producing 47 bhp of power output and 43 Nm of torque. The motor will likely come mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox to make every ride smooth and efficient.
Since it will be a fully-faired motorcycle, Honda will work on its overall design profile to make it stand out. The sports bike will likely get a muscular fuel tank, thick alloy wheels, and a larger LED headlight setup, adding to the Honda CBR500R motorcycle’s aggressive and sporty look. While many sports bikes are uncomfortable driving long distances, special attention to maximum ride and seating comfort would fix this issue in the upcoming CBR500R.
Customers can expect a fully digital speedometer, digital instrument cluster, and digital odometer for an elevated ride experience. Along with tech upgrades, Honda will offer features like smartphone connectivity, LED headlights, turn indicators, and a USB charging port for added convenience. From a safety perspective, there may be front and rear disc brakes with ABS and tubeless tires with strong alloy wheels. All these configurations will provide maximum rider safety and reliable performance in varied drive terrains.
