Latest Update: The TVS Apache RTX 300 was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. TVS Motor Company has also filed a design patent for the motorcycle and is reportedly preparing to debut this flagship model in India by Q3 of this year.
In the Indian market, TVS Apache RTX 300, a road-biased adventure tourer, is one of the most anticipated TVS bikes launching this year. The Apache RTX 300 is confirmed to get a new RTX D4 engine that was revealed at MotoSoul 2024.
The upcoming Apache RTX 300 is based on a steel trellis frame featuring the same underpinnings offered in Apache RR 310 and RTR 310. This underpinning confirms that the motorcycle will be more road-road focused regarding its hardware fittings.
Additionally, it will feature sportier design dimensions with subtle adventure-oriented elements like a typical ADV beak, a tall windscreen, mid-set food pegs, knuckle guards, a luggage rack, and a beefy engine guard.
The RTX 300 will feature a split LED headlamp setup in the front paired with hefty fairing, adding to its modern and stylish look. The motorcycle's expected to have a set of long-travel USD forks at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. There could be a 19-inch wheel in front and a 17-inch wheel in the rear with block pattern tires. The motorcycle will have disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard for braking.
TVS Motor Company can offer a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and SMS alerts. The upcoming RTX 300 motorcycle will also have multiple ride modes, switchable rear ABS, traction control, cruise control, and cornering ABS for a comfortable ride quality.
This upcoming TVS bike will have a new RT-XD4 299cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine capable of producing 35 bhp and 28.5 Nm of torque. The engine will come mated with a 6-speed slip and assist clutch gearbox. It is expected that Apache RTX 300 may launch between June 2025 and August 2025.
Expected Price & Rivals
While the pricing is not revealed, the TVS Apache RTX 300 is expected to cost from Rs 2.5 lakh, ex-showroom. Under this price range, it will compete against KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and Yezdi Adventure.
