Jaguar is a British luxury car manufacturer with a history dating back to the 1930s. The company was originally founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company and later became Jaguar Cars. Jaguar is known for producing elegant and sporty cars, including iconic models like the Jaguar E-Type. Jaguar has expanded its lineup to include SUVs like the Jaguar F-PACE and electric vehicles like the Jaguar I-PACE.
Jaguar is the luxury car brand under the Jaguar Land Rover name, which in turn has been a subsidiary of Tata Motors since 2008. On January 1, 2013, the group was again restructured into two separate entities with one focussing on design in England and the other focussing on both the brands combined.
The popular Jaguar cars sold in India include the XE, XF, XJ and F-Pace. The brand has also announced that it will become an all-electric brand in the future and has shown glimpses of its electric prowess with the I-Pace and has attained several accolades for it.
