Vingroup, one of the biggest private enterprises in Vietnam, owns VinFast Auto Ltd. Pham Nhat Vuong established the business in June 2017, and its main office is in Haiphong, Vietnam's Đình Vũ-Cát Hải Economic Zone. VinFast is renowned for its concentration on manufacturing electric vehicles (EVs), such as electric automobiles and electric scooters, and for being the first Vietnamese automaker to enter international markets.
History
In September 2017, VinFast began construction of an 828-acre complex in an industrial park on Cat Hai Island, close to Hai Phong. In under 21 months, the factory—which include an engine shop, assembly shop, paint shop, and press shop—was constructed. The company's first three vehicles, the Lux A2.0 sedan, Lux S2.0 SUV, and the Fadil for city commuting, were introduced in 2019 after making their premiere at the 2018 Paris Motor Show.
Expansion and Global Presence
VinFast has quickly broadened its range of vehicles by launching e-scooters and the first e-bus in Vietnam in 2021. The company's goal is to dominate the EV market globally while concentrating on a brighter future for everybody. VinFast introduced the VF 8 and VF 9 to the worldwide market in North America and Europe in 2022. Along with showcasing its goods at significant international motor events, the firm has built showrooms in North America and Europe.
