India's largest multinational conglomerate Tata Group proudly holds its automotive subsidiary Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited in high regard, given the new benchmarks being set by the automobile division day-by-day in the Indian market as well as in the global scenario.

Tata Motors' Nexon EV PRIME priced Rs 15 lakh launched in India

The popular Indian automaker Tata Motors launched Nexon EV Prime electric SUV. The new Nexon EV Prime colours are Daytona Grey, Glacier White and Signature Teal Blue shades options.

Following are the new Tata Nexon EV Prime variant-wise prices:Nexon EV Prime trims (all prices, all India ex-showroom) -XM = Rs 14.99 lakh XZ+ = Rs 16.30 lakhXZ+ Lux = Rs 17.30 lakh Dark XZ+ = Rs 16.49 lakh Dar XZ+ Lux = Rs 17.50 lakh

Tata Nexon EV Prime offers state-of-the-art intelligent features like the Automatic Brake Light Activation on Regen, Charging Timeout of 110 seconds, Cruise Control, Indirect Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (iTPMS), Multi-Mode Regen, and Smartwatch enabled connection.

The Mumbai headquartered automobile company will also provide the latest Nexon automatic features to more than 22,000 Nexon EV customers presently. The free Nexon feature update will be done via a software upgrade by Tata from the 25th of July 2022 at TATA Authorised Service Centres. After this phase, all the software updates will be chargeable for every current Nexon owner.

TATA Motors is planning to start an educational project for its customers soon.

The latest Nexon e-SUV offers thirty-five mobile application related connectivity features such as remote commands, navigation, vehicle tracking to drive behaviour analytics, and remote diagnostics.

As per Mr Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited., “Nexon EV has caught the attention of the entire country and has continuously spearheaded the electric vehicle category since it has been introduced. It is the first option for aspiring EV buyers, as the Nexon e-SUV holds a market share of more than 65%. With the launch of the new Nexon EV Prime car, we expect to further reinforce our plan of action to keep our products New Forever. Moreover with the new software update to existing Nexon customers, we are fixing a new standard of what buyers can look forward to as part of the Tata electric vehicle ownership experience.”

The new electric Nexon Prime offers a stress-free long-range with zero emissions on a single charge (ARAI certified range of 312 kms). The new Nexon e-SUV is fitted with a highly efficient and powerful permanent-magnet 129 PS AC motor, energized by a strongly capable 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. The Nexon Prime EV features an industry-leading dust and waterproof cell package that is affiliated to IP67 grade quality. The new Tata Prime Nexon EV provides eight years of warranty or equivalent to 1,60,000 kms (whichever is earlier) on the Nexon EV battery and its motor.
