Latest Update: Honda plans to introduce the Active 7G, the seventh generation of its popular Honda Activa scooter, in the Indian two-wheeler market. The scooter will have high-tech specifications, making it even more technologically sound than the existing Activa 6G.
Honda Activa 7G will maintain its recognition silhouette with refreshed design elements without shifting its primary focus from the loyal customer base. It would have an updated LED headlamp cluster, virtual instrument cluster, enhanced under-seat space, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The side profile will have clean and uncluttered lines for visual appeal, but the practical flat floorboard will be maintained. While the seat is said to be slim, it will offer the utmost comfort for riders. While their color options are not confirmed, they may have vibrant metallic finishes to attract younger customers.
According to sources, the upcoming Honda Activa 7G scooter will have a BS6-tuned 110cc engine, generating 7.7 horsepower and 8.84 Nm of torque, and paired with an automatic transmission. It delivers 55 km/l of fuel mileage and has a 5-liter fuel tank capacity. It will have an ergonomic layout with tubeless tires on both ends for a more premium appeal.
The upcoming Activa 7G can be the most technology-oriented Activa scooter yet, including a full-digital instrument cluster to display essential insights clearly and crisply. It will also have a Honda smart key system for keyless on and off functionality, making the ride even more efficient and convenient.
