Latest Update: Honda is reportedly planning to launch one of India's most anticipated scooters, the Honda PCX125. According to reports, the Japanese two-wheeler brand can launch the PCX125 scooter in July 2025.
Honda PCX125 in multiple international markets like Indonesia, the UK, and the US. The scooter offers a 125cc water-cooled eSP+ SOHC 4-valve engine capable of producing 9.2kW power output and 11.7Nm of torque in these markets.
The maxiscooter boasts unique styling for futuristic design. It measures 1935 mm in length, 740 mm in width, and 1105 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 1305 mm. The seat height of the Honda PCX125 is just 764 mm, making it suitable for most riders.
While the scooter is designed to navigate the city traffic, its 180 mm of ground clearance allows it to run easily on uneven roads. The overall design of the PCX125 maxi scooter is stylish and imposing and also equipped with a range of features like a USB-C charging socket in the glovebox, a 5-inch TFT screen, Honda selectable torque control, 30.4-liter seat storage, and Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity.
The upcoming Honda PCX125 also sports a 220 mm hydraulic disc brake in front and a 130 mm drum brake in the rear. The suspension duties are performed by a 31 mm telescopic fork in front and twin suspension aluminum swingarms at the rear.
If Honda launches the PCX125 scooter in India, it will likely retain most of these technical specifications with some India-specific enhancements.
Expected Price & Rivals
Honda PCX125's expected price in India can be between Rs 85,000 to Rs 1,10,000. After launching in the market, the all-new PCX125 maxi scooter will compete against Hero Xoom 125, TVS Ntorq 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125.
