Latest Update: Ola first revealed its Solo scooter in April 2024 through a social media post. The electric scooter is said to have autonomous driving capabilities, which has the potential to redefine urban transportation completely.
While the launch details are unavailable and specifications are unconfirmed, the concept electric scooter is a testament to Ola’s commitment to autonomous driving and self-balancing technology for two-wheelers.
The model “Ola Solo” confirms that it would be India’s first autonomous electric scooter capable of navigating traffic, city speed bumps, and corners with 100% accuracy.
Moreover, it will be equipped with AI-enabled technology. Interestingly, the upcoming Ola Solo electric scooter will have a Summon function, allowing riders to call the scooter to their location through a smartphone app.
Ola will also equip this scooter with a Vishram model that utilizes built-in AI to explore and navigate the nearest compatible charging station.
Price & Rivals
Ola Solo electric scooter price in India is currently unavailable, but it is expected to have a price range of Rs 1,00,000, ex-showroom. After launching in the market, it will compete with TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Honda Activa Electric.
