Latest Update: TVS Motor is reportedly working on its new affordable range of electric scooters. Recently, a camouflaged electric scooter was spotted testing in Karnataka, and it's rumored to be the upcoming TVS Jupiter Electric. According to sources, Jupiter Electric can be based on Jupiter 110 or the iQube platform.
While very limited information is available about the electric version of the Jupiter scooter, it's expected to be launched in India by October 2025. It will be a more affordable offering compared to other electric models in the brand's portfolio, which could limit the tech features, range, and performance.
It may feature a smaller battery unit of less than 2.2 kWh paired with a medium-duty electric motor. There could be a simple LCD console with basic connectivity features. Also, the sources claim that the upcoming TVS Jupiter Electric will be convenient to ride and practical for day-to-day activities.
Price & Rivals
TVS Jupiter Electric is expected to be priced from Rs 1,10,000 to Rs 1,30,000, ex-showroom. The TVS electric scooter will see tough competition from Kinetic Green Flex and Okinawa Ridge 100.
