Latest Update: Vida Z is another upcoming electric scooter from Hero’s electric two-wheeler brand, Vida. The electric scooter is confirmed to be built on modular architecture and will be capable of housing battery sizes between 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh. It will get a touchscreen TFT display and various other tech features to attract young scooter buyers in India.
Hero MotoCorp first revealed its Vida Z at EICMA 2025 to mark its entry into the European market. In India, Hero showcased this electric scooter at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, and it's reportedly rumored to launch in the market on October 30, 2025.
While the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer hasn’t revealed the specifications, the Vida Z is likely based on the existing Vida V1 scooter. However, it will have a more modern and stylish design with minimalist styling and an LED headlamp.
The scooter will pack a flat seat with an integrated backrest for better comfort for riders. Vida has claimed that the upcoming electric scooter from this brand will be based on modular architecture and capable of housing multiple-sized battery packs of up to 4.4 kWh.
Additionally, it will be powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), and the battery fitted will be removable. The electric scooter from Vida will have several tech and connectivity features that will allow riders to monitor battery health, vehicle theft, geo-fencing, and additional functions.
Sources also claim that the upcoming Vida scooter will have an over-the-air update, allowing buyers to update their Vida Z with the latest features without requiring them to visit the showroom.
Price & Rivals
Vida Z price in India is expected to range between Rs 1,00,000 to Rs 1,50,000, ex-showroom. When it launches in India, the Vida Z electric scooter will face competition from Okinawa Okhi90, Ather Energy 450X, Birla XL, and Ampere Nexus.
