Latest Update: Suzuki GSX-S1000 is expected to debut in India by August 2025. The GSX-S1000 will be the naked version of the Suzuki GSX-R1000 and have a typical streetfighter design.
Currently, the Suzuki GSX-S1000 is available in the USA with a starting price of $11,909 (approx Rs 10,10,611). Suzuki offers this superbike in Metallic Matte Sword, Silver, and Glass Sparkle Black color options.
The motorcycle gets a 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine capable of producing 154 PS and 106 Nm of torque. The engine unit is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, slip-and-assist clutch, and bi-directional quick shifter. The motorcycle also has a ride-by-wire throttle.
Suzuki has provided a 5-inch TFT color LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity for modern design and style. It also features a five-level traction control system, Suzuki Easy Start System, and Low RPM Assist System. There are three ride modes available in this Suzuki motorcycle: Mode A (Active), Mode B (Basic), and Mode C (Comfort).
The Suzuki GSX-S1000 also sports an inverted fork and line-type mono-shock suspension setup. For braking, it gets Brembo, 4-piston, twin-disc brakes in the front and Nissim, single-piston, single-disc brakes at the rear, with dual-channel ABS as standard.
The racing bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 120-section front and 150-section rear tubeless tires and has a fuel tank capacity of 19 liters. The Suzuki GSX has 810 mm of overall height, 140 mm of ground clearance, and 214 kg of curb weight.

Suzuki GSX-S1000 price in India is expected to commence from Rs 12,00,000, ex-showroom, and it can possibly launch in August 2025. Once launched, the all-new Suzuki GSX-S1000 will compete with Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R, Triumph Street Triple ABS, and BMW F 900 XR.
