Latest Update: The Ultraviolette F99 motorcycle was unveiled at EICMA 2024 alongside the F77 Mach 2 and the Concept X road-biased electric ADV. The F99 Factory Racing Platform electric superbike is expected to launch this year.
Ultraviolette Automotive claims its F99 to be the fastest Indian-manufactured motorcycle in the market, setting a new quarter-mile record in 10.712 seconds. The F99 electric bike gets a liquid-cooled motor that can produce 90 kW (120 bhp) and 200 Nm of torque. Moreover, it can accelerate from 0-100 km in just 3 seconds and has a top speed of 258 km/h.
The electric superbike weighs only 178 kg, all thanks to its carbon fiber bodywork alongside active aerodynamics, meaning the winglets on the side of the fairing move as the bike leans into the corner for better stability.
The Ultraviolette F99 has top-shelf components like Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes with a twin-disc setup at the front, and lightweight alloy wheels with slick tires. The production version of this electric bike is expected to launch globally in 2025.
Expected Price
The Ultraviolette F99 price in India is expected to start around Rs 8 lakh, ex-showroom. While the electric bike has no direct competitor, it will get some competition from flagship motorcycles available under this price range.
