Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 dominates Kari Motor Speedway, beating ICE rivals like Aprilia RS 457 and KTM 390 Duke. See the full results!
In a recent dramatic track battle, the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 electric motorbike took against some of the most well-known ICE bikes. The F77 not only held its own against strong competitors like the Aprilia RS 457, Yamaha R3 (prior generation), KTM RC 390, and the new KTM 390 Duke, but it also won the race. Beyond merely a motorcycle, the Ultraviolette F77 is a showcase for India's engineering prowess under the Make-in-India program. As Ultraviolette Automotive makes its debut in Europe and gains recognition in the electric motorbike market, it is establishing new standards for innovation and performance.
At the Kari Motor Speedway in Tamil Nadu, the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 showcased its track-tuned prowess. Here's how the hot lap timings stacked up:
The F77 established itself as the dominant force in this shootout by outpacing its nearest rival by a full second. According to reports, this is a track-tuned version of the ordinary F77 Mach 2, although it looks a lot like the ones that are sold to consumers.
Ultraviolette Automotive has created a bike with precisely tailored aerodynamics by taking influence from the aviation sector. Its streamlined body improves its track performance by cutting through the air with little resistance.
The F77’s Ballistic Mode unleashes its full potential with 40.2 bhp of peak power and a jaw-dropping 100 Nm of torque. This power propels the bike from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and gives it a top speed of 155 km/h.
The chassis boasts exceptional structural rigidity, paired with a 41mm preload-adjustable USD telescopic fork in the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 4-pot caliper from Bybre, ensuring precise stopping power.
The 10.3 kWh battery pack in the Recon variant offers the largest capacity in its segment, ensuring consistent performance even during demanding track sessions.
The Recon variant builds upon the standard model with:
The success of the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 in this shootout shows that electric motorbikes are capable of competing with internal combustion engines (ICE) in terms of both performance and creativity. Ultraviolette's dominance in the high-performance electric motorbike market is solidified with this victory.
