Ultraviolette has unveiled the Tesseract electric scooter, starting at ₹1.20 lakh for early buyers. It offers up to 261 km of range, radar-based safety tech, and a top speed of 125 km/h.
Ultraviolette has made its entry into the rapidly growing electric scooter industry by marking their newest launch of the Tesseract. The Tesseract is set to be offered at an introductory price of ₹1.20 lakhs for the first 10,000 customers & ₹1.30 lakhs for the next 50,000 customers.
The Tesseract will be sold under three battery variants, yet Ultraviolette has only revealed the pricing of the 3.5 kW variant as of now. Bookings of the Tesseract are to commence in Q1 2026.
If talked about the appearance, the Tesseract flaunts a dual-projector LED headlamp setup with floating daytime running lamps. The front apron of the scooter consists of a contrasting black finish and a small fly screen on top. In the rear, the scooter includes a slightly scooped-up seat and edgy-appearing panels. The scooter also receives a sharp-tailed section, boomerang-shaped split tail lamps, and sits on 14-inch alloy wheels. The Tesseract will be available in four colour options:
The Tesseract is loaded with features such as a 7-inch LED touchscreen display with onboard navigation and a customisable user interface. The radar sensor technology in the scooter includes safety functions like blind spot detection, overtake alert, lane change assist, & collision alert. The scooter also comprises built-in dashcams at the front and rear and has a handlebar with haptic feedback.
The Tesseract is equipped with disc brakes on both ends and aided with dual-channel ABS. The scooter includes traction control with two modes, four levels of regen, hill hold, park assist, and dynamic stability control functions. The under-seat storage capacity of the scooter is 34 litres.
The battery options of the Tesseract are 3.5 kWh with a 162 km range and 6.0 kWh with a 261 km range. The 5 kWh and 6 kWh versions of the Tesseract generate 20.10 bhp, and on the other hand, the smaller battery variant generates 13.4 bhp. The top speed of the scooter is set at 125 k/h, while the Tesseract can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 2.9 seconds. All the range figures mentioned here are IDC.
