e2o PLUS

<p>With its steady expansion towards electrical vehicles, Mahindra had introduced the e2o, which has gained popularity as a city smart car. It has four variants P2, P4, P6 and P8. It has a standard height with an equally proportionate body with 310 mm longer, 61 mm wider and 25 mm taller than the 2-door e2o. The wheelbase is 300 mm longer than the 2-door model. The design has an all-new front grille with projected headlamps. Mahindra e2o Plus is powered by a 210 AH Lithium-ion battery, which generates the maximum power of 25 bhp at 3500 rpm and peak torque of 70 Nm at 1000 rpm. However, with the top-end P8 variant, the same battery develops 40 bhp of top power at 3500 rpm and 91 Nm of highest torque at 2000 rpm. It has no clutch and the body is linked to the direct-drive transmission. The hatch comes with Regenerative Braking Technology, which charges the battery whenever the brakes are applied.The e2o Plus is the brand's second attempt to make a cost-effective electric car, after the two-door e2o. Unlike the e2o, the e2o Plus comes with four doors and a rear bench, making space for a family of four to fit in. Some of the drawbacks of the car include the limited driving range and highway performance. </p>
