Latest Update: Skoda unveiled its Elroq at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, positioning it as a premium electric SUV in the market. According to industry reports, the upcoming Skoda Elroq can be priced between Rs 25 lakh to Rs 30 lakh ex-showroom. While the launch date is yet to be confirmed, the model can be launched by the end of this year.
Skoda Elroq features the new Modern Solid Design language, equipping a black closed-off butterfly Skoda grille with four-piece LED DRLs. On the rear, the taillights are configured below the DRLS on the bumper and get LED matrix light setup. The side profile of the electric SUV looks similar to Skoda Kodiaq. However, Elroq has a more compact design dimension than Kodiaq and gets 21-inch alloy wheels. A prominent silver skid plate is on both the front and rear bumpers.
Skoda Elroq's interior comprises a layered dashboard design found in new generation Skoda Superb, Skoda Octavia, and Skoda Enyaq. Additionally, the SUV receives a 13-inch floating touchscreen and a head-up display, a fully digital driver display, automatic air conditioning, ambient lighting, and connected car technology. The Elroq electric SUV has multiple airbags and an ADAS suite for safety.
As per the available information, the Elroq electric will be available in three battery pack options: 52 kWh, 59 kWh, and 77 kWh. While the 52kWh battery pack will deliver 170 PS and 310 Nm torque with 370 Km of maximum range, the 59kWh battery unit will deliver 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque with 418 Km of range. In a top-spec variant backed by a 77 kWh larger battery pack, the Elroq Electric offers 286 PS and 545 Nm of torque with a maximum range capacity of 579 km.

The Skoda Elroq EV price in India can commence from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 35 lakh, ex-showroom. After launching in the market, the Elroq Electric will go head to head with BYD Atto 3 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
