 Honda Launches 2023 CB200X launched at ₹ 1.47 lakhs integrated with BS6

Affordable Adventure Awaits

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has rolled out its 2023 CB200X, a bike that promises adventure without breaking the bank. Let's dive into what makes this affordable adventurer tick.

Affordable Adventure: Pricing

Starting at an attractive price of ₹1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2023 Honda CB200X offers adventure enthusiasts an affordable ticket to hit the open road.

Meeting the Standards: BS6 Phase 2, OBD2, and E20 Compliant

The 2023 Honda CB200X isn't just about affordability; it's environmentally conscious too. It meets BS6 Phase 2 norms and is now both OBD2 and E20 compliant, aligning with the latest emission and safety standards.

The Heart of Adventure: Engine

Powering this adventure machine is an 184.4 cc single-cylinder engine that now meets the OBD2 norms. It churns out 17 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 15.9 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, offering a spirited performance for your rides. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

Tried and Tested: Familiar Hardware

The CB200X shares its underpinnings with the Hornet 2.0, which recently got an update to OBD2 norms. Key components like USD front forks and a mono-shock at the rear remain unchanged. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, equipped with single-channel ABS for added safety.

A Word from Honda:

Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, HMSI, expressed, "Today marks a significant milestone as we launch the 2023 CB200X inspired by Honda's legendary CB legacy. Since its launch in 2021, CB200X has received tremendous response in the market and is a perfect riding companion for the customer's daily commutes as well as short weekend getaways beyond the cityscapes."

Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, added, "We are pleased to introduce the 2023 CB200X with an OBD2 compliant engine, stylish graphics, and a new assist & slipper clutch. Marking a steady evolution in the 180-200cc motorcycle segment, the CB200X urban explorer is inspired by the dreams of the new-age customers and their passion for motorcycle riding who want to Explore Life with Every Ride!"

A Familiar Face: Design and Features

In terms of design, there are no major changes. The CB200X borrows styling cues from the larger CB500X, featuring all-LED lighting. It also comes equipped with a new assist & slipper clutch, digital instrument console, and more. The bike is available in three colour options, including the new Decent Blue Metallic, alongside the Pearl Nightstar Black and Sports Red.

Warranty Offer: Special 10-Year Package

As an added incentive, HMSI is offering a special 10-year warranty package (3-year standard + 7-year optional) on the CB200X, providing peace of mind for years of adventure ahead.
