Husqvarna is all set to launch the all new 2024 Svartpilen 250 in India. The motorcycle is boasting advanced features along with a rugged design, finally homologated for Indian roads.
Key Highlights
Husqvarna, made waves in India with the launch of the updated Vitpilen 250 and all-new Svartpilen 401 in 2024, gears up for another significant release - the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 250.
A leaked type approval certificate from ARAI, Pune, hints at the imminent arrival of the of the updated version of Svartpilen 250 in the Indian market. The Black Arrow, as it's aptly called, shares dimensions with its counterpart, the Vitpilen 250, but stands taller, signifying a distinct scrambler-style approach.
Distinguishing itself with a taller handlebar, the Svartpilen 250 embodies the rugged elegance associated with scrambler motorcycles. Equipped with the same 5-inch TFT instrument panel with optional Bluetooth connectivity, it offers ride-by-wire, switchable rear ABS, full LED illumination, a type-C charging port, and a quickshifter.
Sharing underpinnings with the Vitpilen 250, the Svartpilen 250 boasts a new steel trellis frame, non-adjustable 43mm upside-down front forks, and a rear mono-shock for optimal handling. Stopping power comes from a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.
Expectations run high for the Svartpilen 250's off-road prowess, with wire-spoked rims and dual-purpose tires, likely Pirelli Scorpions, ensuring resilience on various terrains. Powering the Svartpilen 250 is a 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 30.57 bhp and 25 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
Enthusiasts await the Svartpilen 250's official launch, anticipated to be later this year or early next year, positioned as a versatile offering between the Vitpilen 250 and Super Meteor 650. Pricing details are eagerly awaited, promising an exciting addition to Husqvarna's Indian portfolio.
The impending launch of the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 signals Husqvarna's commitment to catering to diverse rider preferences in India, blending rugged design, advanced features, and robust performance for an unparalleled riding experience.
