In a reminiscent move, akin to the third-generation Octavia facelift, the 4th gen Octavia receives a design overhaul that captures attention. The most notable change is the reimagined headlight unit, featuring a pronounced split and inverted LED DRL signatures, exuding an animalistic and aggressive aura. The front fascia boasts a new 2D logo, 10 color options, a redesigned radiator grill, and a revised lower front bumper with air curtains at the wheel wells.
Optional features include second-gen LED Matrix technology with Crystallanium for the headlights and newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear is not left untouched, with revised tail lights, animated turn indicators, and a refreshed bumper. Inside the cabin, a new 2D logo on the steering wheel, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and an infotainment screen, standard across variants, provide a modern and luxurious feel.
Skoda introduces eco-conscious elements in the interior, using sustainable materials for trim elements and employing ecologically friendly practices in tanning the leather seats. The cabin offers a rich and comfortable ambiance, featuring electronic parking brakes, ergo seats, rear window blinds, rear AC vents, and more.
The 2024 Octavia facelift is available in standard sedan and Combi estate versions with four trim levels - Essence, Selection, Sportline, and RS. While the Indian market may see the regular Octavia sedan, the facelift boasts an impressive lineup of eight 4-cylinder engine choices, including mild-hybrid and AWD options.
Safety remains a top priority, with the facelift incorporating advanced features such as driver attention and drowsiness monitoring, intelligent park assist, remote park assist, and up to 10 airbags. The Euro NCAP awarded the model a 5-star crash rating, highlighting its commitment to safety.
From the 1.5L TSI petrol motor to the 2.0L TSI petrol engine and 2.0L TDI diesel engine, the Skoda Octavia facelift offers a versatile range, catering to diverse preferences. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic unit, ensuring a seamless driving experience. As Skoda continues to push boundaries, the 2024 Octavia Facelift stands as a testament to the brand's commitment to innovation, style, and sustainability.
