TVS Motor unveils the updated Apache RR 310, featuring track-inspired aesthetics, cutting-edge technology, and personalization choices, bringing racing excitement to street riders.

2024 TVS Apache RR 310 Launched at ₹2.75 Lakh

TVS Motor has revealed its latest flagship two-wheeler, the 2024 Apache RR 310, for the Indian market. This sports-oriented motorcycle enters the high-end single-cylinder category, appealing to riders seeking track-like performance on public roads. The result of a joint effort with BMW Motorrad, the 2024 Apache RR 310 utilizes a platform shared across two TVS models and three BMW motorcycles.

With a starting price of ₹2.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level variant without quick-shifting capabilities, the 2024 Apache RR 310 seeks to challenge the KTM RC390 and similar premium offerings. The quick-shift equipped version is priced at ₹2.92 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2024 Apache RR 310 is available in three recognizable patterns:

  • Classic Red (base option)
  • Stealth Grey (₹2.97 lakh, ex-showroom)
  • Competition-inspired design (extra ₹7,000, including custom race number)

TVS incorporates the motorcycle into its Custom Order program, offering two enhancement packages:

1. Performance Package (₹18,000): Incorporates tunable front and rear suspension, tire monitoring system, and corrosion-resistant drive chain

2. Advanced Tech Package (₹16,000): Introduces Race-tuned Dynamic Control with a 6-axis sensor, providing sophisticated rider assistance features

The updated model introduces a see-through clutch housing and functional aerodynamic elements, which are said to generate additional downward force. The motorcycle maintains its recognizable design, featuring twin headlights, body-integrated mirrors, and a split seat configuration.

The 2024 Apache RR 310's powerplant is a 312.2cc liquid-cooled engine, generating 38 hp at 9,700 RPM and 29 Nm at 7,700 RPM. The 2024 version features improvements, including an enlarged air intake, a modified fuel delivery system, and a redesigned piston for enhanced output. It offers four distinct riding settings: Performance, Circuit, Wet, and City, along with a slip-and-assist clutch mechanism.

Notable features include:

  • Digital instrument panel with smartphone connectivity for communications, alerts, and navigation
  • 300mm front and 240mm rear braking discs with a computerized anti-lock system
  • 17-inch wheelset with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear rubber

The braking setup consists of a 300mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, both supported by a dual-channel anti-lock system. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tires, balancing grip and maneuverability.

As TVS's premium offering in India, the 2024 Apache RR 310 seeks to provide a race-inspired daily-use experience. It competes in a segment alongside models such as the BMW G310 RR, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha R3, and the forthcoming Aprilia RS457, presenting an attractive choice for enthusiasts looking for top-tier performance and features in a single-cylinder sports motorcycle.
