Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled the 2025 Honda SP160, marking another exciting addition to its lineup following the recent launches of the Activa 125 and SP125. With a starting price of ₹1,21,951 (ex-showroom Delhi), the updated SP160 is tailored for contemporary riders who prioritize performance, style, and advanced technology.
The new SP160 is powered by a 162.71cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, producing a maximum power of 9.9 kW at 7500 RPM and a peak torque of 14.58 Nm at 5500 RPM. This engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission and complies with OBD2B emission standards, ensuring efficient performance.
One of the standout features of the SP160 is its 4.2-inch TFT display, which integrates Bluetooth connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app. This allows riders to access turn-by-turn navigation, receive call and SMS notifications, control music playback, and view essential ride information seamlessly. Additionally, it includes a USB Type-C charging port, catering to the needs of tech-savvy riders.
The SP160 boasts a sporty design with a muscular fuel tank, an aerodynamic undercowl, and an all-LED lighting setup that enhances its modern appeal. Its dimensions include a length of 2061 mm, width of 786 mm, and height of 1113 mm, along with a wheelbase of 1347 mm. The bike offers a ground clearance of 177 mm and a seat height of 796 mm.
In terms of weight, the kerb weight is approximately 139 kg for the Single Disc variant and 141 kg for the Double Disc variant. The tyre specifications include an 80/100-17M/C 46P front tyre and a 130/70-17M/C 62P rear tyre, while the braking system features a 276 mm disc brake at the front and either a 220 mm disc or 130 mm drum brake at the rear, depending on the variant.
The Honda SP160 will be available in two variants:
Single Disc Variant: Priced at ₹1,21,951
Double Disc Variant: Priced at ₹1,27,956
