2025 KTM 390 Adventure is launching on November 14, with multiple off-road variants. Explore the new design, features, and off-road capabilities that challenge rivals like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
On November 14, 2024, the much awaited 2025 KTM 390 Adventure series will debut in India. According to leaked material, there are several variations, each with special characteristics meant to improve off-road performance. After making its global premiere at the EICMA Show 2024, the KTM-Bajaj partnership is getting ready for a significant release in India. With fans giddy, it is anticipated that off-road and adventure aficionados would find great appeal in KTM's 390 Adventure range.
Bajaj Auto will manufacture all 2025 KTM 390 Adventure models in India. KTM fans in India should anticipate a top-notch portfolio designed to survive both domestic and foreign competition, even though precise model availability has not yet been announced.
KTM intends to provide a competitive range that is in line with its competitors in the adventure and off-road markets; pricing specifics will be disclosed at launch. With many versions to accommodate various riding styles and a distinctive look, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is expected to revolutionise the adventure motorcycle market.
Following its worldwide debut at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, the new KTM 390 Adventure range will formally enter the Indian market, generating a great deal of enthusiasm among riders and off-road fans.
Modifications Anticipated 390 Adventure R: Specifically engineered for off-road use, this vehicle boasts a fully adjustable suspension system with 230 mm of travel, wire-spoke wheels measuring 21 inches in front and 18 inches in back, and increased ground clearance.
390 Adventure X: This version focuses more on on-road and light off-road capabilities and has alloy wheels that are 19 inches in front and 17 inches in back. It also has 200 mm of suspension travel and less ground clearance.
The availability of the 390 Adventure R model in India is unknown, despite the fact that it is fully equipped for difficult terrains.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure represents a significant design evolution from its predecessor. With sharper body panels, a taller windscreen, and an overall edgier appearance, this model is set to turn heads on and off the road.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is expected to house the same 399cc DOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine found in the 390 Duke. However, the powertrain might be tuned differently to align with the adventure riding profile.
Expected Power Output: Approximately 45 bhp and 40 Nm of torque.
The engine is likely to include features such as ride-by-wire, a slipper clutch, and a 6-speed gearbox, ensuring robust performance on diverse terrains.
KTM’s new 390 Adventure series will directly compete with models like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Yezdi Adventure, and Triumph Scrambler 400X. These rivals have been popular in the adventure and tourer categories, and KTM aims to secure a strong foothold with its enhanced off-road capability.
