The upcoming Skoda Kodiaq SUV is confirmed to have a split LED headlight design and an iconic Skoda ‘butterfly’ grille surrounded with chrome elements and some lighting elements.
After being unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the upcoming 2025 Skoda Kodiaq has now been teased recently through the official social handle of the automaker. The teaser post gives an overview of the exterior and interior design of the Kodiaq SUV. In the post description, the brand has highlighted its grander, bolder, and more indulgent look.
The upcoming Skoda Kodiaq SUV is confirmed to have a split LED headlight design and an iconic Skoda ‘butterfly’ grille surrounded with chrome elements and some lighting elements. The size profile of the SUV gets dual-tone alloy wheels with an aerodynamic design similar to the model showcased in Auto Expo 2025. A panoramic sunroof and C-shaped connected LED taillights can also be spotted in the teaser post.
The Skoda has offered brown leatherette seat upholstery with perforations for the interior. The front dashboard features a layered design and has a 2-spoke steering wheel in the Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, and Kylaq. A 13-inch freestanding touch screen, 10.25-inch digital driver display, and multi-color ambient lighting are also provided to make the interior technologically sound.
Additional features like a wireless phone charger, powered and ventilated front seats, multi-zone auto air conditioning, and an optional heads-up display can also be provided in the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq SUV. Multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and an advanced driver assistance system for added passenger protection could exist.
However, the powertrain option is yet to be confirmed by Skoda. The global variants of the Kodiaq SUV get multiple powertrain options, including a 1.5-liter turbo petrol mild hybrid capable of delivering 150 PS and comes mated with 7-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-liter turbo petrol plug-in hybrid that delivers 204 PS and gets 6-speed DCT. A 2-liter turbo petrol and 2-liter diesel engine option are also available. The latter two options offer FWD and AWD options for the buyers, while the first two engine options come only in the FWD system.
The upcoming Skoda Kodiaq SUV is likely priced around Rs 45 lakh, ex-showroom. The SUV would rival the MG Gloster, Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
