Aprilia ignites anticipation in India with the listing of its Tuareg 660 adventure bike on the official website. Boasting powerful performance and versatile features, it's set to redefine the segment.
Aprillia is known in the Indian market for its high-performance motorcycles, and has stood up with the same tag with the recent listing of Aprillia Tuareg 660 on its official website. This high-performance bike has been listed recently and has started a wave of anticipation to be launched in the Indian market soon. Currently Aprilia India has unveiled Tuareg 660.
Though the listing has caused excitement among enthusiasts, details regarding its launch and launch date have still remained disclosed. However, it has been enquired and confirmed that this new addition of performance bike in the Indian market can be seen soon. Though the schedule has not been finalised yet. Though, whenever the bike will launch we can expect its price to reach Rs 20 Lakh (ex-showroom).
The Tuareg 660 boasts a formidable 659 cc parallel-twin engine, akin to the RS 660 and Tuono 660 models. This powerplant delivers a robust output of approximately 79 bhp and 70 Nm of torque for adventurous rides. Notably, the engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, with the option to equip a quick-shifter for enhanced performance.
In terms of suspension, the Tuareg 660 is equipped with 43 mm Kayaba USD forks at the front and a Kayaba monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable. With an impressive travel of 240 mm on both ends, this adventure bike promises a comfortable and capable ride over varied terrains.
The bike's design echoes its off-road prowess, featuring dirt-bike-inspired styling elements such as a boomerang-shaped single-piece seat and a tall, upswept exhaust. Notably, the Tuareg 660 sports a 21-inch spoked wheel at the front and an 18-inch spoked wheel at the rear, ensuring stability and control in challenging conditions.
In terms of technology, the Tuareg 660 is equipped with a host of rider-assist electronics, including four riding modes, switchable ABS, traction control, and APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control). Moreover, riders can stay informed and connected through the intuitive full-color TFT screen, offering a seamless interface for navigation and other functionalities.
With a dry weight of 187 kg and a substantial fuel tank capacity of 18 liters, the Tuareg 660 strikes a balance between agility and endurance, ideal for long-distance touring and off-road escapades.
As anticipation mounts, enthusiasts eagerly await further updates from Aprilia regarding the official launch date and pricing of the Tuareg 660, poised to redefine the adventure biking segment in India.
