Ather Energy has launched the updated 2025 versions of its popular 450X, 450S and 450 Apex electric scooters, introducing new features, improved technology, and revised pricing. The 2025 Ather 450S now starts at ₹1.30 lakh, making it ₹4,400 more expensive than its predecessor. The 450X range has also received price hikes, with the mid-range 450X 2.9kWh variant priced at ₹1.47 lakh and the top-spec 450X 3.7kWh version costing ₹1.57 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The new Apex model comes at the price of ₹1,99,999.
In a unique launch event, Ather demonstrated the performance of its updated scooters by racing them against a 160cc motorcycle and a 125cc petrol scooter across various conditions, highlighting the efficiency and agility of the 450 series.

Ather 450: 3.3 seconds
The 2025 Ather 450X, 450S and 450 Apex models come equipped with cutting-edge features designed to enhance both performance and rider safety.
The updated Ather 450S comes with a faster 375W charger, replacing the older 350W unit, resulting in reduced charging times. Meanwhile, the 450X 2.9kWh variant now includes a powerful 700W charger, cutting its charging time almost in half.
Pro Pack Price Revision
The Pro Pack on the 450S now costs ₹14,000, reflecting a price increase of ₹1,000. Most of Ather’s advanced features are bundled with this Pro Pack, making it an essential consideration for buyers.
Both variants of the 450X now offer two additional color options and a sportier aesthetic, reinforcing Ather’s commitment to design innovation alongside technological advancements.
The 450 Apex will now come with Ather's recently released Halo smart helmet as standard equipment. Additionally, the new Eight70 warranty, which provides coverage for up to 8 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first, and 70% battery health assurance up to 8 years, will now cover all three of the Ather 450 range's battery-powered scooters.
