CFMoto's 450SR S: A2-license compliant sports bike with a potent 449.5cc engine, unique design, and advanced features, challenging European rivals.
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto has officially launched its A2-license-compliant 450SR S sports bike in Europe, setting the stage for fierce competition with rivals like the Aprilia RS 457, Kawasaki Ninja 500, and the Honda CBR500R.
The heart of the 450SR S is a robust 449.5cc, parallel-twin engine, delivering an impressive 46.3bhp and 39.5Nm of torque. Boasting a distinctive 270-degree firing order, the engine is mated to a responsive six-speed gearbox, promising an exhilarating riding experience for enthusiasts.
One of the standout features of the CFMoto 450SR S is its unique design elements, including a single-sided swingarm and fairing-mounted winglets. These additions not only enhance the bike's visual appeal but also contribute to its overall aerodynamics and stability on the road.
Encased within a chromium molybdenum steel trellis chassis weighing a mere 11kg, the 450SR S ensures a nimble and agile ride. With a kerb weight of 179kg, riders can expect a perfect balance of power and control. The motorcycle boasts a fuel-carrying capacity of 14 litres, providing ample range for long rides.
Equipped with a robust braking system, the 450SR S features a 320mm front disc and a larger 240mm rear disc, supported by a dual-channel ABS system. The suspension setup comprises 37mm upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride on various terrains.
The CFMoto 450SR S doesn't fall short on tech features, offering a full-color TFT instrument cluster, twin LED headlights, a traction control system, and seamless mobile connectivity. Additional safety features include automatic headlights, ESS emergency braking, and a stylish underbelly exhaust.
