Hero MotoCorp has introduced its first electric scooter, the Vida V1, to the Indian market. It is offered in two models: V1 Plus and V1 Pro, each with its own set of specs and pricing. The new Hero Vida V1 e-scooter will compete with other electric scooters such as the Ola S1, Ather 450X, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak.

Hero Vida V1 Prices in Delhi NCR, Jaipur & Bengaluru
Well, honest opinion, this scooter is relatively pricier when compared to other scooters available in the Indian market. The new Hero Vida V1 electric scooter is available in two models: V1 Plus and V1 Pro, which are priced at Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.59 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The Karnataka state government does not provide discounts for electric scooters; nonetheless, the new Vida V1 costs less in Delhi and Rajasthan. It is relatively pricey when compared to other scooters on the market in our country.
Battery Options
The Hero Vida V1 comes with two battery packs: 3.44kWh with the V1 Plus and 3.94kWh with the V1 Pro. The former is stated to have a certified range of 143km, whereas the V1 Pro is capable of running up to 165km on a single charge. The V1 Pro and V1 Plus are reported to accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 3.2 and 3.4 seconds, respectively. Both models have a top speed of 80kmph.
The electric motor is powered by a battery and has a torque of 25Nm and a power output of 6kW (8bhp). However, the available continuous power is 5.2bhp.
Ride Mode Options
The new Vida V1 comes preloaded with three ride modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport. The V1 Pro also has a Custom mode with over 100 options to fit the rider's needs. What's more, the scooter includes a limp mode, which decreases the speed to 20kmph when the battery capacity is less than 10%. The scooter only operates on Eco and Ride modes when the battery level is less than 20%. It also includes a SuperSport mode that engages when the throttle is pushed past 95%. This enables rapid acceleration during overtakes.
Charging Options
The new Vida V1 electric scooter has three charging options. The scooter includes two replaceable battery packs that may be charged at home. It can be charged from 0% to 80% in 5 hours and 15 minutes. The V1 Pro batteries charge in 5 hours and 55 minutes at home.
It also has a portable charging option, which allows you to charge the battery while parked. The batteries may be charged from 0 to 80% in 5 hours and 55 minutes using a portable charging method. The electric scooter also allows quick charging and is touted to have a range of 1.2 kilometers per minute.
Battery can be Charged at Ather Charging Networks
The new Hero Vida V1 electric scooter can be charged at the current Ather battery charging network, according to Hero. For those who are unaware, Hero MotoCorp has made significant investments in Ather Energy.
