Embark on unforgettable adventures with the Honda NX500, boasting high-end features and an unbeatable adventure touring experience priced at Rs. 5.90 Lakhs.
Key Features:
In a significant move, Honda has officially launched its much-anticipated adventure tourer bike, the NX500, in the Indian market. The bike, which garnered attention during its pre-booking phase, comes with a plethora of features designed to provide riders with a thrilling and responsive experience both on and off the road.
Honda initiated the pre-booking phase for the NX500 with a nominal amount of Rs. 10,000. The bike is now available for purchase at a starting price of Rs. 5.90 Lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option for adventure enthusiasts across the country.
The Honda NX500 boasts a powerful liquid-cooled DOHC in-line 2-cylinder engine with a displacement of 471cc. With a maximum power of 35kW at 8600rpm and a peak torque of 43N-m at 6500rpm, the bike delivers strong torque seamlessly from low to mid-range, ensuring a thrilling acceleration experience. The transmission system features a self-clutch, wet multi-plate type, with a 6-speed gearbox.
Enhancing the riding experience is the fully connected color TFT display. With cutting-edge optical bonding technology, the 5-inch display minimizes glare and integrates smartphone connectivity. This advanced technology allows riders to enjoy on-screen turn-by-turn navigation, manage calls, and enjoy music while on the go.
The NX500 features a massive 17.7L fuel tank, extending the journey range and seamlessly integrated into an aerodynamic design that channels airflow efficiently. Paired with wide handlebars, the design ensures ultimate control for riders.
The bike has a powerful new headlight that commands attention with strong beam penetration, ensuring broad light distribution for confident night-time cornering and exploration. Additionally, rally-spec wind protection enhances comfort during long rides, directing airflow over and around the bike.
A standout feature is the Honda RoadSync mobile app, available for both Android and iOS. This first-in-class app opens up possibilities, from turn-by-turn navigation to managing calls and enjoying music, enhancing the overall journey experience.
The NX500 incorporates Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), masterfully handling rear wheel traction across varied road conditions, especially in rainy weather. The traction control can be switched off for off-road adventures, unleashing maximum driving power.
The bike features dual-channel ABS with ESS, along with advanced suspension technology. The 41mm Separate Function-Big Piston (Showa SFF-BP) forks promise precision and reduced sliding resistance, complemented by dual discs for powerful braking.
Buyers can choose from a range of aesthetically pleasing color options, including Grand Prix Red, Pearl Horizon White, and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic.
The launch of the Honda NX500 marks a new chapter in the adventure biking segment, offering a perfect blend of power, technology, and comfort for riders seeking an unparalleled experience on the road. This new bike is expected to compete with the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan.
