As of now, Hyundai has sold over 1.2 million units of Creta in India. This exceptional sales performance of Creta has accounted for Hyundai Motor’s domestic SUV sales to reach 70.9% in April 2025.
Hyundai Motor India announced that its Creta again became the highest-selling model in the Indian automobile industry. In April 2025, Hyundai Creta secured sales of 17,016 units, showcasing YoY growth of 10.2% compared to April 2024. The Creta SUV has consistently maintained its number one position as India’s top-selling SUV model from January to April 2025, with a combined sales of 69,914 units.
As of now, Hyundai has sold over 1.2 million units of Creta in India. This exceptional sales performance of Creta has accounted for Hyundai Motor’s domestic SUV sales to reach 70.9% in April 2025.
On this achievement, Mr. Tarun Garg, full-time director and COO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd, stated that Hyundai Creta has continued to dominate the Indian market and reflects the trust and love Indian customers have for the brand. Being the best-selling car across all segments for the last two months and the top-selling SUV in the Industry for the first four months of 2025 is a proud achievement for Hyundai Motor India.
The Creta reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence, offering customers a perfect blend of style, safety, innovation, and performance. The additional electric variant has further strengthened the sales of Creta.
Hyundai Creta, India’s best-selling SUV, comes in three engine options, including a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-liter turbocharged, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. A 6-speed manual gearbox is the standard, and an optional automatic gearbox is also available. This popular compact SUV has interior features like a panoramic sunroof, ADAS, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, and ventilated front seats.
It gets full-length LED light bar headlights, taillights, and an updated front and rear profile on the exterior. This 5-seater SUV from Hyundai has 2,610 mm of wheelbase, 4,330 mm of overall length, 1,790 mm of width, and 1,635 mm of height, offering generous cabin space for passengers and luggage items.
In India, the Hyundai Creta is priced at Rs 11.91 lakh for the base E variant, while it costs Rs 20.50 lakh for the top-spec SX (O) Knight Diesel AT DT variant.
