Italian two-wheeler maker Benelli’s Hungarian sister concern Keeway launched 3 products in India: Keeway Sixties 300i retro scooter, Keeway Vieste 300 maxi scooter and Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser bike, marking the brand’s entry in the country in May 2022. Benelli and Keeway brands are owned by the Chinese bike maker Qianjiang Group. Qianjiang Motorcycle or QJ Motor is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1985 and based in Winling. Now it is one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in China.
New Keeway K-Light 250V reservations are open and already attracting motorcycle enthusiasts as it is after a long time that the domestic two-wheeler market has got a small capacity V-twin motorcycle. The K Light bike booking can be done by paying an advance amount of Rs 10,000 in the form of token money for securing the registration.

This quarter litre V-twin cruiser bike in India is durable and muscular. The powerful K-Light 250V engine is part of a robust powertrain featuring a 249cc V-twin motor with belt drive system that helps is easy maintenance. This new K Light bike comes with a class-leading standard option of 2 years of unlimited kilometres warranty.
Keeway K-Light 250V Price:Hungarian brand Keeway’s new V-Twin cruiser K-Light 250V bike prices in India starts from Rs 2,89,000 for Matte Blue, Rs 2,99,000 for Dark Matte Grey and Rs 3,09,000 for Matte Black edition. (Prices, ex-showroom, India).

Deliveries of the product were scheduled to begin from mid-July 2022, as stated by the company. For India, Keeway is planning to launch a total number of eight two-wheeler products in four categories by the end of this year.
The rough and tough K-Light 250V is equipped with a strong 249cc V-Twin engine and comes with a best-in-class warranty on unlimited kilometres covered in 2 years, which is offered as standard.

According to Mr Vikas Jhabakh, the Managing Director of Keeway India, "We are happy to introduce the strong and muscular V-Twin K-Light 250V cruiser bike at an appealing price point taking into account the buying trend, market conditions and two-wheeler consumer preferences.”
Mr Jhabakh also added, “We are planning to introduce another 5 products to the Indian 2-wheeler market later this year. That would essentially comprise of 1 cruiser, 2 retro street classics, 1 naked street-fighter and 1 carbon copy race edition model. In addition, to fulfil the business needs, we are also planning to widen our dealer base and network all over India and are considering to add more than 100 dealerships by the end of next year.
This savage beast of a machine K-Light 250 cruiser bike is also equipped with the intelligent technology-enabled feature system: the KEEWAY Connect solution. A built-in battery runs the system and the bike can be precisely tracked up to 2.5 meters of its proximity and accurately traced for up to three hours, even when the device is not connected with the main battery.
Keeway K-Light 250V app features remote engine shutdown, set up a geofence, recording trips, sets up a speed limit and shares location info with other riders during community bike ride outings. In terms of an emergency assistance, the panic button function allows to convey the real-time location sharing to two prefixed contacts through the app and sets up the procedure to claim roadside support as well.
Keeway has joined hands with Adishwar Auto Ride India to build on Benelli India's network of more than fifty dealerships all over the country and the well-equipped Adishwar assembly factory in order to fulfil Keeway’s determined expansion plans.
