Kia Carens: Kia has recently upgraded its popular MPV, Carens along with the lineup rearrangement. The MPV now has additional features such as a smart key with a push-button start. The new Kia Carens offers better value for money for the customers and it is now available in 30 variants in total. The new upgrades have given the MPV a fresh touch which is expected to attract more customers towards the MPV.
The all-new updated Kia Carens MPV gets new exterior colours and new variants. The Kia Carens is available in two petrol engines and one diesel mill. Two petrol engines including a Naturally Aspirated and a turbocharged unit. Transmission options of the new Karen include a six-speed manual unit, a seven-speed DCT, a six-speed iMT and a six-speed torque converter automatic unit.
The company has added two new variants to the lineup with the variant rejig, one of which is the Prestige (O) variant. This variant comes with 6-seater and 7-seater options with some newly added features including a positioning lamp, LED DRLs, LED rear combination, big 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leather-wrapped gear knob, smart key with push-button start, burglar alarm, steering mounted controls and keyless entry.
Another newly added trim is the Prestige+ (O). This trim's whole set of features remains the same as the Prestige (O). This variant now comes with seven-speed DCT and six-speed AT options. In addition to this, the Prestige+ (O) variant gets an LED map lamp and a sunroof.
The all-new Kia Carens gets a diesel engine combined with a manual gearbox. This is the same powertrain that Kia discontinued back then. However, with the new update, Kia has again introduced the 1.5-litre diesel mill in the Carens which comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard.
The revamped Kia Carens MPV offers enhanced features and value across its 30 variants, including two petrol engines and a reintroduced diesel option. With diverse transmission choices and updated styling, the Carens aims to entice a broader range of customers seeking a versatile and feature-rich MPV option.
