2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport: Stylish upgrades, revamped cabin, cutting-edge tech, and versatile performance redefine luxury SUV sophistication and versatility.
Land Rover, the iconic British luxury SUV manufacturer, has introduced the 2024 Discovery Sport in the Indian market, showcasing a blend of enhanced aesthetics and advanced features. Priced at ₹67.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the midsize luxury SUV comes with subtle yet impactful styling improvements and a refreshed cabin to align with the Land Rover family's design ethos.
The 2024 Discovery Sport boasts of a refined exterior with new gloss black finishes on the grille, lower body sills, and bumpers, exuding a sophisticated and distinct look. The gloss black detailing extends to the wheel arches and front air intakes' three-line signature, complemented by newly introduced 19-inch diamond-turned finish alloy wheels. The SUV is now available in the alluring Varesine Blue color option.
Inside the cabin, the 2024 Discovery Sport receives comprehensive updates, including a revamped center console and the introduction of an 11.4-inch curved glass display for the infotainment system. The minimalist design, inspired by Range Rover and Defender models, integrates the latest Pivi Pro infotainment system with shortcut keys for efficient and user-friendly navigation. The SUV also features wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, and a new gear shifter with shadow oak trim.
Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the Discovery Sport offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a PM 2.5 filtration air purifier, panoramic sunroof, and advanced safety features like 3D surround cameras and ClearSight Ground View, providing a unique under-the-bonnet perspective. The seven-seater configuration, with a 40:20:40 split functionality, ensures flexibility and up to 1,794 mm of cargo space with all seats folded.
The 2024 Discovery Sport is available in the Dynamic SE trim, featuring the reliable 2.0-litre petrol engine delivering 245 bhp and 365 Nm of torque, along with the 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine generating 201 bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque. Both engine variants are coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission for a smooth and responsive driving experience.
