Lectrix EV has launched the NDuro electric scooter at a price of Rs 59,999, offering early bird discounts and a host of advanced features like smart connectivity, impressive performance, and flexible battery options.
Lectrix EV, the electric vehicle arm of SAR Group, has introduced the NDuro electric scooter at a competitive price of Rs 59,999. Early bird customers can avail of a special offer, purchasing the scooter for just Rs 57,999. Lectrix has also enabled the booking of the NDuro electric scooter on Flipkart.
The NDuro stands out with its sporty design and impressive 42-liter boot space which is the largest in its segment. This makes it not only a stylish option for daily commuters but also a practical choice for those seeking a thrill on the go.
"NDuro shows our commitment to innovation and sustainability. It’s a big step towards the future of mobility by offering the perfect mix of style, performance, and a great riding experience," said Rakesh Malhotra, founder of the SAR Group.
The launch event took place at The Park Hotel in New Delhi and was attended by important guests, such as Pritesh Talwar, President of Lectrix EV, Rakesh Malhotra and Navneet Kapoor, founders of SAR Group, and Anil Dua, Co-founder of Lectrix EV.
Equipped with advanced technology, the NDuro electric scooter delivers a top speed of 65 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. It offers a tested gradability of 16°, making it suitable for tackling various terrains, even for single riders.
Customers can choose between two battery options: the 2.3 kWh battery, which provides a range of 90 km (IDC-certified), and the more powerful 3.0 kWh battery, providing an extended range of 117 km (IDC-certified). This flexibility allows riders to select the battery that best suits their needs and preferences, whether for daily commuting or longer journeys.
The NDuro is packed with smart connectivity features designed to enhance the user's overall experience. These include live location tracking, emergency SOS,ride analytics, theft alerts, efficiency bar, and hill hold, making it an ideal choice for modern riders who require both performance and safety.
Affordable with the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) Model
To make electric mobility more accessible, Lectrix EV introduces theBattery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model for the NDuro. With a nominal battery subscription, customers can lease the battery which lowers the upfront cost by nearly 40%. This model allows users to swap batteries at designated stations which ensures minimal downtime.
Lectrix EV already has a strong network across 120+ cities, with over 200 dealer partners and service centers. With an existing fleet of 10,000 batteries, 15,000 scooters, and 30,000 three-wheelers operating across India, Lectrix EV is in a strong position to keep growing in this developing electric vehicle market.
Since its founding in 2020, Lectrix EV has invested Rs 300 crore and achieved a reduction of over 6.6 million kilograms of CO2 emissions. The NDuro launch marks another milestone in the company’s mission to deliver clean, green mobility solutions to the country.
