April 2025 also marked the commercial arrival of Mahindra’s first “born electric” vehicles, namely the BE 6 and XEV 9e. These EVs are the most technologically advanced and premium locally produced electric vehicles available in India today. While Mahindra did not release monthly EV sales figures, the company disclosed that by April 9, over 3,000 units had already been delivered since their launch on March 20, reflecting early market acceptance and strong demand.
Mahindra has begun FY2026 on a positive note, with strong gains across domestic sales, exports, and EV adoption. The company’s focused SUV strategy, expanding EV lineup, and growing global footprint place it in an enviable position in India’s dynamic automotive landscape. With key launches ahead and a clear vision for electric mobility, Mahindra is set to continue its upward trajectory.
