The upcoming MG M9 electric has a 90kWh battery pack, a single electric motor, and an FWD system.

JSW MG Motor India has officially started booking its upcoming MG M9 electric MPV. The automaker has kept the token amount of Rs 51,000 to confirm the bookings for the MG M9 EV. Like the MG Cyberster electric sports car, the all-new electric MPV from MG Motor will be sold through MG Select premium dealerships. While the showroom prices haven’t been confirmed, the M9 electric is expected to be around Rs 65 lakh. With this model, the MG is aiming to challenge the Kia Carnival.

MG M9 Electric MPV Booking Starts at Rs 51,000

MG M9 Interior

Ahead of its arrival in the Indian market, the automaker has revealed the interior details of its upcoming electric MPV. There are 16-way adjustable Presidential seats with 8 massage functions, ventilation, and heading functions. The electric MPV is available in two interior color options, Cognac Brown and Pure Black. 

Some major feature highlights include a dual panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker premium sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, three-zone climate control, and a dedicated touch screen panel for the second row and rear entertainment screens for added appeal and comfort. The M9 also has a Level 2 ADAS feature for occupant safety.

MG M9 Motor & Range

The upcoming MG M9 electric has a 90kWh battery pack, a single electric motor, and an FWD system. The configuration delivers 245 bhp of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, it can offer up to 430 km of range on a single charge. MG has claimed that the battery can be charged 30-80% in just 30 minutes using a DC fast charger. 

On a standard 11kW AC charger, the EV takes 9 hours to charge from 10-80%. MG M9 MPV can accelerate 0-100 km/h in 9.2 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h.
