Compared to previous versions, the new Ioniq 6 gets major design enhancements inspired by the Hyundai RN22e concept, particularly around the front profile of this electric sedan.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 facelift created a buzz after its official launch at the Seoul Motor Show 2025. The debut of the Ioniq 6 N Line, a sportier variant of the electric four-door sedan, has made it an even more compelling choice for electric sedan buyers. It's the first time the brand has introduced the N Line version of the Ioniq 6 sedan, featuring sportier bumpers with N Line badging, bespoke alloy wheels, and black-out body panels. Let's explore more details about the newly unveiled Hyundai Ioniq 6 facelift.
Compared to previous versions, the new Ioniq 6 gets major design enhancements inspired by the Hyundai RN22e concept, particularly around the front profile of this electric sedan. Now, it features an updated front splitter and raised bonnet for better aerodynamics. It also receives refreshed but slimmer headlamps with pixel motifs, available in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric SUV. On the side profile, it has black finished side skirts, updated alloy wheels, and revised rearview cameras. On the rear side, the new Hyundai Ioniq 6 boasts a sports double Ducktail spoiler, LED-connected taillights with a Pixel effect design, and a sportier bumper with a chrome finish.
Apart from noticeable changes across exterior design, the new Hyundai Ioniq 6 gets minor updates inside the cabin. The newer version of the Ioniq 6 receives a larger display for dual-zone climate control and premium material quality for the seats and other components fitted across the interior. A new three-spoke steering wheel and updated center console also add to its fresh appeal.
Hyundai has continued offering existing battery packs, including 53kWh and 77.4kWh. The smaller 53kWh battery is fitted in entry-level trim paired with a single motor capable of delivering 149 bhp. In contrast, the higher spec trim gets a 77.4kWh battery pack with a single electric motor RWD and dual motor AWD configuration, ensuring 225 bhp and 321 bhp, respectively.
While the automaker hasn't specified the range of this electric sedan, the pre-facelift version with a 77.4kWh battery pack was claimed to deliver a WLTP range of 614 km on a single charge.
Along with launching a facelifted version of the Ioniq 6, the automaker teased the Ioniq 6 N Line, the sportier version of this electric sedan. Hyundai can offer its Ioniq 6 N Line with an 84kWh battery and dual motor powertrain, delivering up to 650 bhp and a maximum range of 448 km. This sportier version of the Hyundai electric sedan would accelerate to 0200 km/h in 3.4 seconds and deliver a top speed of 260 km/h.
