Lamborghini India enters a new chapter as Nidhi Kaistha takes the helm, bringing with her over two decades of diverse industry experience.
Automobili Lamborghini has officially announced the appointment of Nidhi Kaistha as the new Head of Lamborghini India. In her new role, Kaistha will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Italian supercar maker’s operations in the country, including sales, marketing, and after-sales service. Her leadership comes at a pivotal time for the brand in India, which is currently its sixth-largest market in the Asia Pacific region.
Kaistha steps into the position previously held by Sharad Agarwal, who led Lamborghini India from 2016 until 2024. Under Agarwal’s stewardship, Lamborghini significantly expanded its footprint in the Indian luxury performance car segment, culminating in record sales and deeper brand engagement. Agarwal transitioned to Classic Legends in 2024, where he now serves as the Chief Business Officer.
Lamborghini currently operates through three touchpoints across India, in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru, providing access to its exclusive lineup of supercars, such as the Huracán Tecnica, Urus Performante, and the Revuelto plug-in hybrid. With the Indian luxury car market witnessing steady growth, the brand is keen to bolster its presence and engagement with an evolving customer base that increasingly values bespoke experiences and high-performance engineering.
Commenting on Kaistha’s appointment, Francesco Scardaoni, Region Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific, expressed optimism about the future. “We are delighted to welcome Nidhi Kaistha as Head of Lamborghini India. She brings a wealth of experience in the automotive industry, and we are confident that her strategic vision will drive further growth in India. India continues to be a market with immense growth potential for Lamborghini, and we look forward to strengthening our presence and delivering exceptional experiences to our customers in the region,” he said.
With over 25 years of professional experience across hospitality, aviation, and automotive sectors, Kaistha’s profile is marked by a strong track record in business development and customer engagement. Before joining Lamborghini India, she served as Regional Sales and Pre-Owned Cars Manager at Porsche India, where she played a crucial role in expanding the brand’s used-car business and regional sales performance.
Her leadership style, shaped by years of navigating diverse consumer segments, is expected to bring a fresh perspective to Lamborghini’s India operations. Industry insiders believe her cross-sector expertise and proven business acumen could further consolidate Lamborghini’s reputation among Indian enthusiasts and high-net-worth individuals.
As India continues to evolve into a key market for ultra-luxury performance vehicles, Kaistha’s appointment signals Lamborghini’s commitment to long-term strategic growth in the country. With a renewed focus on experience-driven ownership and brand expansion, all eyes will be on how she steers Lamborghini into its next phase of growth in India.
