Experience the affordability of Okaya EV's E-scooters as prices are slashed by up to Rs 18,000, providing an economical and eco-conscious choice for urban commuting.
Key Highlights:
Okaya EV, a leading name in the electric vehicle sector, has made a groundbreaking announcement today, slashing prices across its entire lineup of electric scooters. This move aims to make electric mobility more accessible to the masses, with discounts of up to Rs 18,000. The offer, which commenced on February 1st, 2024, will be in effect until February 29th, 2024.
Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of Okaya EV, said: “We have significantly lowered the prices across the entire range to strengthen affordability. This strategic move aims to alleviate any concerns customers may have regarding EV pricing, ultimately accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in India.”
With this latest update, Okaya has redefined the affordability quotient in the electric scooter market. The entry-level model, the Freedum, now comes with an enticing price tag of Rs 74,899, offering a commendable range of 75 km on a single charge. This significant reduction in price marks a strategic effort by Okaya to cater to a wider audience of eco-conscious consumers.
Here is a comprehensive breakdown of the updated ex-showroom prices of Okaya models:
All Okaya e-scooters come equipped with a BLDC hub motor, certified under AIS 156 Amendment III Phase 2 by ICAT, ensuring a safe and reliable riding experience. Moreover, Okaya EV two-wheelers feature LFP (Lithium iron phosphate) batteries, known for their safety and durability, particularly in the challenging weather conditions prevalent in India. LFP batteries offer improved discharge and charge efficiency, as well as a longer lifespan compared to conventional NMC batteries.
One of the highlights of this announcement is the substantial price drop of the Fast F4 model, now available at Rs 1,19,990, down from the previous price of Rs 1,37,990 (both ex-showroom). The Fast F4 boasts an impressive range of 140 to 160 km per charge and is equipped with two batteries, delivering a total output of 4.4 kWh. Okaya claims this to be the highest battery capacity in the industry, promising enhanced performance and reliability
With these substantial price cuts and enhanced features, Okaya EV is poised to drive the electric mobility revolution in India, offering eco-friendly solutions without compromising on performance or affordability.
