Porsche is gearing up to unveil the highly awaited Macan EV during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on January 17, 2025. Priced at an ex-showroom value of ₹1.65 crore, this luxury electric SUV introduces the Macan Turbo variant in two trims. Porsche promises the Macan EV will set a new trend in India’s burgeoning electric automobile market.
The Porsche Macan EV Turbo is designed to deliver exhilarating performance with its 576 bhp output, which can be boosted to an impressive 630 bhp using Launch Control and Overboost. With a torque of 1,130 Nm, the Macan EV guarantees a thrilling drive that’s hard to match.
The Turbo 4S variant is available in both RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive) and 4S (Four-Wheel Drive) configurations. Its 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of just 3.3 seconds positions it among the fastest electric SUVs in the luxury segment.
To ensure a smooth ride, the Macan EV features Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and adaptive air suspension, allowing height adjustments for better control and comfort. Additionally, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and rear-axle steering enhance its precision handling, providing unparalleled control on varying terrains.
Powered by a 100 kWh battery pack, the Macan EV Turbo is built on Porsche’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture. The platform supports fast charging up to 270 kW, allowing a charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
When it comes to range, the Macan EV excels with a WLTP-certified range of 518-590 km on a full charge, making it suitable for both city commutes and long drives. For urban use, the WLTP range extends to an impressive 670-762 km, ensuring outstanding efficiency in real-world conditions.
