With no new models, the automaker offers only a base variant of the Porsche Macan, which is powered by a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 261 bhp and 400 Nm of torque.

Porsche, the Germany-based high-performance luxury car manufacturer, has discontinued its petrol variants of the Macan SUV in India. The Porsche Macan S and GTS models have now been discontinued and delisted from this brand's official website. While the new models of petrol Macan SUVs are not available, some select dealerships may still have the last stock available. 

Porsche Macan Petrol Variants Discontinue in India

Porsche Macan S & GTS Discontinued 

After discontinuing the petrol-powered Macan globally in April last year, the model is set to be discontinued from all markets by 2026. Based on recent efforts, the automaker has discontinued these models in India. With no new models, the automaker offers only a base variant of the Porsche Macan, which is powered by a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 261 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. It is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 96.05 lakh.

Now discontinued, the Porsche Macan S and GTS were equipped with a 2.9-liter V6 turbocharged petrol engine, capable of delivering 375 bhp and 520 Nm of torque in the Macan S, and 434 bhp and 550 Nm in the GTS.

The new Macan Electric is now available as the brand's entry-level SUV with more powerful variants. Indian customers can select from the Macan Electric, Macan 4S Electric, and Macan Turbo Electric, with a price range of Rs 1.21 crore to Rs 1.69 crore, ex-showroom.

Price Increase of Porsche 911, Cayenne, Panamera, & Taycan

Recently, Porsche increased the prices of its luxury cars in India. The Porsche 911 saw a Price increase of Rs 9 lakh to Rs 12 lakh, making it available for Rs 2.11 crore to Rs 2.84 crore, depending on the variant. Similarly, the Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe also saw price hikes of up to Rs 10 lakh, with prices ranging from Rs 1.47 crore to Rs 2.10 crore. The Panamera and Panamera GTS are now priced at Rs 1.80 crore to Rs 2.50 crore, up to Rs 16 lakh more expensive. The all-electric Taycan is priced from Rs 1.70 crore to Rs 2.70 crore, up to Rs 16 lakh more expensive.
