Tata Motors launched its long-awaited Harrier EV (Harrier.ev) on June 3, 2025, with an introductory price of Rs 21.49 lakh, ex-showroom. While the complete lineup, specifications, and pricing structure are yet to be revealed, the base variant features have been confirmed. In the launch event, Tata Motors announced that the Harrier EV will be available in Adventure, Fearless, and Empowered variants. The launch event witnessed the debut of Harrier.ev Adventure trim with several segment-first features.
As an entry-level variant of the Tata Harrier EV, the Adventure variant will come mated with a 65 kWh battery pack. It will support up to 120kW fast charging and be charged 20-80% in just 25 minutes. While the Harrier.ev will also be offered in an AWD variant, the entry-level trim will get an RWD setup with an electric motor capable of producing 234 bhp.
In the model, there can also be seen Tata’s new Ultra Glide suspension, comprising frequency-dependents. Tata has also offered three driving modes: Sport, City, and Eco. The model also has Drift mode and four regeneration models that can be controlled using pedal shifters. For enhanced safety, the all-new Harrier.ev Adventure trim gets advanced cruise control and an acoustic vehicle alert system.
For exterior design, the electric version of the Tata Harrier SUV gets 18-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, LED bi-projector headlamps, LED DRLs, an LED taillight setup, and connected lights on either side. The electric SUV also features roof rails, integrated side steps, a rear wiper and washer, puddle lamps, and a shark fin antenna. The Tata Harrier.ev has six standard airbags, an all-wheel disc brake setup, a tire pressure monitoring system, a rear parking sensor, and traction control. Additional safety features include hill hold, hill descent control, cornering stability, electronic parking brakes, and auto hold and brake disc wiping.
Inside the cabin, the base variant of Tata Harrier EV comes with dual tone intedual-tone theme, electronically adjustable and foldable ORVMs with auto fold function, V2V and V2L capabilities, and leatherette seat upholstery. The Harrier EV interior also houses 45W USB-C charging ports, a sliding front armrest, and telescopic adjustable steering.
Nevertheless, the Tata Harrier.ev also packs automatic climate control, an eight-way adjustable driver seat, a four-way adjustable passenger seat, rear AC vents, multiple terrain modes, dual 10.25-inch displays, iRA-connected car technology, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Harrier EV also supports over-the-air updates for the latest software experience.
