Discover the new Tiger 1200 lineup from Triumph, featuring enhanced engine performance, fresh color choices, and improved riding comfort.
Key Highlights:
Triumph Motorcycles has once again set the benchmark for adventure touring with its latest unveiling of updates to the Tiger 1200 family for 2024. These enhancements are aimed at refining and advancing the range, offering riders an unparalleled experience on both road and off-road terrains.
The engine of the Tiger 1200 receives significant attention with a series of updates geared towards optimising performance. Changes to the crankshaft, alternator rotor, and balancer have been meticulously executed to increase engine inertia. Coupled with associated engine calibration adjustments, this results in a smoother and more precise low rev torque delivery. Riders will immediately notice the increased smoothness during acceleration and deceleration, particularly at low speeds. Moreover, an updated clutch design ensures a smoother engagement when shifting into first gear, further enhancing the overall riding experience.
Triumph prioritizes rider comfort with several key updates to the Tiger 1200's ergonomics. Drawing from the success of the dampened handlebars and risers in the Explorer models, these features are now introduced to the GT Pro and Rally Pro variants. This addition not only provides a smoother ride but also improves mirror visibility, ensuring a safer journey for riders.
The rider seat undergoes a redesign, featuring a flatter profile that offers more space and reduces fatigue during extended rides. Additionally, the introduction of an accessory low seat, which lowers the seat position by 20mm, further enhances comfort, especially for riders embarking on long-distance journeys. The inclusion of a longer clutch lever adds to the comfort factor, providing increased space for riders' fingers and enhancing the overall riding experience.
Triumph addresses concerns regarding cornering ground clearance by lifting footpeg positions and moving them closer to the bike on the GT Pro and GT Explorer models. This adjustment not only enhances agility but also instills greater confidence in riders tackling challenging terrain.
Furthermore, the introduction of the Active Preload Reduction feature offers riders greater control and confidence by reducing rear suspension preload as the Tiger 1200 slows to a stop. With a simple press of the 'Home' button on the switch cube for one second, riders can lower the seat height by up to 20mm, further enhancing their riding experience.
In addition to performance and comfort enhancements, Triumph introduces striking new color options for the Tiger 1200 lineup in 2024.
The Tiger 1200 GT Pro and GT Explorer models, tailored for road-focused adventures, will now come in the vibrant Carnival Red, alongside existing options of Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black.
Meanwhile, the Tiger 1200 Rally Pro and Rally Explorer variants, ideal for all-terrain adventures, offer stylish new choices in Matt Sandstorm and Jet Black, in addition to the popular Matt Khaki.
Currently, Triumph 1200 line up is consisting of 4 variants priced,
TIGER 1200 GT PRO: Price From ₹ 19,19,000.00
TIGER 1200 GT EXPLORER: Price From ₹ 20,69,000.00
TIGER 1200 RALLY PRO: Price From ₹ 20,19,000.00
TIGER 1200 RALLY EXPLORER: Price From ₹ 21,69,000.00
With upgraded features the bikes are expected to be priced more than 20 lakhs. However, we will know the exact price by the end of May 2024, which is the time expected for the bikes to be launched.
Triumph's latest updates to the Tiger 1200 lineup for 2024 reaffirm its commitment to delivering unmatched adventure touring experiences. With a perfect blend of performance, comfort, and style, the Tiger 1200 continues to lead the pack in the adventure motorcycle segment, empowering riders to conquer any journey with confidence and ease.
