The engine of the bike is a single overhead cam (SOHC) type, designed to be oil-cooled for optimal performance. With a displacement of 159.7 cubic centimetres, it generates a torque of 14.73 Newton metres at 7250 revolutions per minute (rpm) and delivers a power output of 12.91 kilovolts at 9250 rpm, equivalent to 17.55 metric horsepower (PS). The transmission system is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox for smooth shifting. Its fuel tank has a capacity of 12 litres, ensuring sufficient fuel for long rides. Additionally, the bike is compatible with a flexible fuel range, accepting ethanol blends from E20 to E85, offering versatility in fuel options for the user.
The current TVS Apache RTR 160 4V lineup comprises five editions, each catering to different consumer preferences. The ex-showroom prices for these variants range from Rs 1,23,870 to Rs 1,37,670:
