Experience the cutting-edge innovation of TVS Flex-Fuel Version of Raider 125 at Bharat Mobility Expo 2024.
Key Highlights:
In a significant move towards sustainability and innovation in the automotive industry, TVS Motor unveiled the flex-fuel version of its popular motorcycle, the TVS Raider 125, at the prestigious Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. This latest offering from TVS showcased the brand's commitment to eco-friendly solutions and technological advancements in two-wheeler engineering.
The highlight of the TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version lies in its adoption of TVS' cutting-edge Flex Fuel Technology (FFT), allowing for an ethanol blending of up to 85 percent. This technology not only enhances the bike's environmental credentials but also offers increased fuel versatility to riders, promoting cleaner energy alternatives.
ENGINE: Under the hood, the TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version retains its robust 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine, now adapted to accommodate ethanol fuel blends ranging from E20 to E85. Delivering a commendable performance, the engine churns out 11.2bhp at 7,500rpm and 11.2Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm, paired with a smooth five-speed gearbox.
While the introduction of the flex-fuel variant marks a significant milestone, the TVS Raider 125 continues to boast its impressive features.
WHEEL: Equipped with a disc brake at the front and a rear drum brake, the motorcycle ensures reliable stopping power. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 80/100 front and 100/90 rear tires, offering a perfect balance of stability and maneuverability on various terrains.
SUSPENSION: The TVS Raider 125 features a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear, delivering a comfortable and controlled riding experience even on rough roads.
LED SETUP: The bike incorporates modern conveniences such as LED illumination all around, a fully digital instrument console, optional Bluetooth connectivity, and a combined braking system, enhancing both safety and convenience for riders.
The bike is expected to launch in October 2024 at an expected price range of Rs 1,00,000 to Rs 1,10,000. Bikes currently on the market that will compete with the Raider 125 Flex-Fuel include the Hero Xtreme 125R and Joy e-bike Monster.
With the unveiling of the flex-fuel variant of the TVS Raider 125, TVS Motor Company reaffirms its position as a frontrunner in the Indian automotive industry, showcasing a blend of innovation, sustainability, and performance in its offerings. As the market continues to embrace eco-conscious solutions, the TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel version emerges as a compelling choice for riders seeking a harmonious balance between power, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
