KTM and Bajaj launching Husqvarna Vektorr EV Scooter soon , spied during testing , its feature and price range and biggest rivals.
The Husqvarna Vektorr Concept EV will be an upcoming electric concept scooter . Originated in Sweden motorcycle brand Husqvarna later was acquired by KTM and now with Bajaj they have been working on this electric scooter and the architecture for EV sector which will play a major role in the EV segment .All these big brands like Bajaj and KTM to be working together reflects the potential of this upcoming EV Husqvarna Vektorr in the Indian market in the near future. Pre-production version seen during their testing in the Indian roads all wrapped in camouflage.
Features
Bajaj has already launched their Bajaj Chetak Scooter in India and the production version of Husqvarna Vektorr is set to be launched next. The Husqvarna Vektorr Electric scooter is expected number of its internal parts with its counterpart Bajaj Chetak , and still their styling is in complete contrast. Bajaj Chetak Scooter which has a vintage designing , the Husqvarna Vektorr is all about its futuristic looks and will have a high youth appeal to satisfy . The picture while testing of Husqvarna Vektorr reveal it to have a large comfortable split-seat in the back , a single-piece grab rail and rear tyre-hugger-integrated number plate holder. The electric scooter is expected to come with a round digital instrument cluster and angular apron. They will provide LED headlights and taillights , and smartphone-compatible instrument cluster .
Husqvarna Vektorr will lead the way for premium electric scooters in the Indian market, it is expected to have high-end tires, alloy wheels, front disk brakes, digital instrument console, ABS and further more. In terms of other power specifications it might be compared to the Bajaj Chetak which is powered by a 4 kW electric motor. And a battery pack of more than 3 kWh lithium-ion will supply the electricity in Husqvarna Vektorr. The battery range of Husqvarna vektorr is expected to be around 100 km in a single charge and will peak a speed of 75 kmph . Judging by the spy pictures , the electric scooter is likely to be provided with a rear mono-shock and a single-sided trailing arm front suspension. The Brand is in the workings of introducing a more powerful motor and a localized battery.
Husqvarna Vektorr EV Scooter Price and Launch:
Husqvarna Vektorr Electric scooter will be playing an important role for the KTM Group to get recognized in the EV space where EV scooters are gaining popularity in the Indian market from recent years, especially in metropolitan cities. It is going to be competing with rivals likes Ather 450x and the new Ola Electric scooter S1 Pro. Since making it in India will allow the brand to price it competitively with its rivals in the market. The expected Husqvarna Vektorr EV price is around Rs. 1.5 lakhs with an expected launch in March-April 2022.
