Jeep Wrangler is a premium 4x4 off-road capable lifestyle SUV. With its recent facelift, its now India’s first vehicle with Corning Gorilla Windshield.
Exterior & Design
Being a 4x4 and off road ready SUV, the new Wrangler comes with a rough, tough, bold and butch look. It continues to come with the iconic Jeep silhouette and signature design elements like the restyled yet iconic 7 slot grille, round shaped LED headlamps, etc.
Additionally, it gets all around thick cladding, flared wheel arches, metallic front skid plate, LED DRLs placed on the front wheel arch, metallic side steps, etc.
Moreover, it also gets a number of lifestyle use related features like full-frame removable doors, removable rooftop, foldable windshield, new design 17 inch black-painted or 18 inch grey-painted machined aluminum wheels, etc.
Interior & Features
Jeep Wrangler comes loaded with multiple comfort, convenience, lifestyle, safety and off-road features. Some of these include a 12.3 inch Uconnect-5 touchscreen infotainment system, integrated/inbuilt navigation, wireless smartphone connectivity, 12 way power adjust driver & co-driver seats, remote engine start/stop, keyless enter & go, proximity lock/unlock, dual zone climate control AC, heated ORVMs, heated steering wheel, heated front seats, etc.
Moreover, on the safety front, it comes with 6 airbags, hill descent control, level 2 ADAS with features like Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with stop & go, auto high beam assist, etc.
Engine & Transmission
The new facelifted Wrangler comes powered by a 2 litre Gme T4 Di Tc petrol engine that can produce 270 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. For transmission duty, it gets an 8 speed torque converter automatic.
Drivetrain
To aid its off road abilities, Jeep also offers a number of off road specific features in the Wrangler. These include, electronically disconnectable front sway bar, heavy-duty dana 44 HD full-float rear axle with tru-lok, off road stats like pitch & roll angle on infotainment screen, stronger axle tubes, larger all wheel disc brakes, rugged steel skid plates, mud terrain tires, Jeep's Selec-Trac & Rock-Trac 4x4/4WD systems, locking front & rear differentials, etc.
Variants & Colours
Available in 2 variants i.e. UNLIMITED and RUBICON, the customers can choose from 5 different colours. These include Firecracker Red, Sarge Green, Black, Bright White and Anvil Clear Coat.

It rivals the likes of Land Rover Defender, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Jaguar F-Pace, Volvo XC60, etc.
