Hero MotoCorp has launched an upgraded version of the Xtreme 160R street naked bike with latest features for the year 2022. The newest edition of the Xtreme 160R dashboard now features a new indicator for showing gear shift positions in real time.

The latest 2022 Hero street bike now also sports a revised saddle design and a new handgrip for the pillion’s extra comfort. Except these new additions, the rest of the bike’s components and features remain the same. The 2022 Xtreme 160R design, exterior style and features etc continue to carry alloy wheels, a single pod headlamp, muscular styling, and side exhaust muffler.
Hero MotoCorp has classified the bike’s newest iteration into 3 variants:
All the three new Hero Xtreme variants basically carry a similar design, mechanical configuration and even the hardware specifications. This series of Xtreme 160R bikes employ an air cooled 163 cc single cylinder motor that churns out 15BHP of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14Nm of highest torque at 6,500 rpm.

The Hero Xtreme 160R single disc variant engages a drum brake mechanism at the rear end wheel. Whereas the Twin Disc and Stealth versions of the Xtreme 160R bike are fitted with disc brakes function on both ends of the wheels.
In terms of the safety aspect on this Hero motorcycle, the entire Xtreme 160R portfolio features a single channel ABS mechanism. The Hero Xtreme 160R bike’s suspension functions are taken care of by telescopic forks at the front of the motorcycle and the rear suspension unit uses a preload adjustable mono-shock set up.
