Honda teases the 2025 Amaze with a bold new design. See how the sub-4m sedan aims to challenge rivals like Maruti Dzire and Hyundai Aura with its upgraded look and features.
Ahead of the debut of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has formally teased the design of the future 2025 Honda Amaze, creating anticipation. In a competitive market with vehicles like the Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor, this redesigned sub-4m sedan seeks to maintain its position. Honda hopes that the Amaze's whole new appearance would make it a formidable competitor and maybe greatly increase sales in the Indian market.
The 2025 Honda Amaze is expected to be a significant change from its predecessors. An assertive attitude and a sharper, edgier look are seen in the teaser drawings. The Amaze is anticipated to become one of the most fashionable sedans in its class with this aesthetic makeover. Notable modifications to the design include of:
LED DRL Positioning gives an elegant and contemporary appearance by positioning the LED daytime running lights above the headlights. Rectangular projector headlamps for both high and low beams are anticipated.
Improved Front Grille and Bumper: The lower bumper's C-shaped accents offer a sporty touch, while the grille design may be based on the worldwide Accord model. The front end has a strong, edgy character thanks to its sharp lines and wrinkles.
These design updates hint at Honda’s goal to create a sedan that not only appeals to aesthetics but also maintains the three-box structure—a challenge in the compact sedan segment.
According to speculation, Honda is expected to base the new Amaze on a modified version of the City platform, which serves as the foundation for the Elevate SUV. Costs might be cut and manufacturing streamlined with this platform sharing. It is anticipated that the engine will continue to be a 1.2L 4-cylinder, built to provide a smooth and responsive driving and to qualify for B-Segment tax incentives.
Customers looking for a sophisticated driving experience in a sub-4m car will find the 1.2L engine to be a good option due to its smooth performance. It's interesting to note that Honda's 4-cylinder engine may stand out and draw in customers looking for a more conventional arrangement, because Maruti Suzuki's Dzire is anticipated to have a 3-cylinder Z-Series engine.
When the 2025 Honda Amaze is released in 2024, it may be the most aesthetically pleasing car in its class with a smooth 4-cylinder engine. Honda hopes to draw attention and influence prospective customers away from rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura by associating it with luxury style and a sophisticated powertrain.
Honda is entering the sub-4m car market in India with this revamp. The 2025 Honda Amaze is expected to give a new look to the entry-level sedan market for Honda thanks to its elegant appearance and timeless appeal.
Mr. Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO of Honda Cars India Ltd., commented on the new Amaze, saying:
“The Honda Amaze has always been a special product for us and our customers in India. As a pioneer in premium styling for entry sedans, the Honda Amaze has always set the standard for design and sophistication in its segment. With the 3rd generation, we are excited to take this to the next level, offering our modern Indian customers an enhanced premium package like never before.”
