Kawasaki has increased the price of the Eliminator cruiser in India to ₹5.76 lakh (ex-showroom) for 2025, without any changes to design or specs.

Kawasaki has quietly revised the pricing of its stylish cruiser, the Eliminator, in the Indian market. As of now, the motorcycle is priced at Rs 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom), an increase of Rs 14,000 over its original launch price of Rs 5.62 lakh in January 2024. Despite the hike, the 2025 model year version arrives without any mechanical or cosmetic changes, maintaining its existing design, feature set, and specifications.

No Updates for 2025, Same Sleek Design

2025 Kawasaki Eliminator Price Hiked in India: Still the Same Cruiser, But With a Price Hike

The Kawasaki Eliminator continues to be offered in a single Metallic Flat Spark Black paint scheme, with no additional colour options or aesthetic tweaks. In terms of styling, the Eliminator sticks to its low-slung cruiser stance, clearly drawing inspiration from the larger Vulcan S 650. It sports a round LED headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a megaphone-style exhaust, all of which give it a classic yet modern cruiser vibe.
Its design approach is minimalist, leaning more toward functional elegance than flamboyance, appealing to both new-age riders and those who admire old-school cruiser DNA.

Powerful Parallel-Twin Engine Carries Forward

2025 Kawasaki Eliminator Price Hiked in India: Still the Same Cruiser, But With a Price Hike

At the heart of the Kawasaki Eliminator is a 451cc parallel-twin engine, an evolution of the now-discontinued 399cc unit found in the Ninja Z400. Kawasaki achieved the displacement bump by increasing the stroke length by 6.8mm, giving the motorcycle a slightly torquier and more relaxed power delivery, ideal for cruising duties.

This motor produces 44 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 46 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The powertrain balances city-friendly responsiveness with enough highway grunt, making it a versatile machine for Indian riders seeking comfort with performance.

Cruiser-Friendly Ergonomics and Features

In keeping with its cruiser aspirations, the Eliminator boasts a low seat height of 735mm, making it approachable for shorter riders. The motorcycle also features Kawasaki’s Ergo-Fit system, which allows riders to tweak ergonomics by adjusting footpeg and handlebar positions, enhancing long-distance comfort.
The circular LCD display is compact yet informative, offering all essential ride data and Bluetooth connectivity for added convenience. Safety is handled by dual-channel ABS, while a slip-and-assist clutch ensures smoother gear shifts, especially in stop-and-go traffic.

Hardware and Cycle Parts

Underneath its cruiser bodywork lies a trellis frame, supported by telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. This setup ensures a comfortable and predictable ride across varied road conditions.

Braking duties are handled by a 310mm semi-floating front disc and a 220mm rear disc, offering adequate stopping power for urban and highway riding alike. The motorcycle offers a ground clearance of 150mm and tips the scales at 176 kg (kerb), a reasonable weight for a cruiser in its class.

Final Thoughts

While the Rs 14,000 price hike might deter some potential buyers, the Kawasaki Eliminator still offers a solid cruiser experience with a refined twin-cylinder engine, practical ergonomics, and brand reliability. However, the lack of any updates in the 2025 model year might disappoint enthusiasts hoping for new colour schemes or tech enhancements.

Nonetheless, for riders seeking a mid-capacity Japanese cruiser with classic styling, smooth performance, and everyday usability, the Eliminator remains a compelling choice, even at its new, slightly higher price point.
